Report on Columbus show for week of February 22nd. W. W. Prosser. THE ROSAIRES; Man and woman in a novelty wire act. Quite an attractive special setting and nice clean work by both members of the team. Applause scattered throughout the act and finished strong. 9 minutes, garden in 4. FIDDLER & SHELTON: Two colored boys in a singing, piano playing, mimicry, etc., all of which is good. The act was substantially a very good hit and went with a whirl from beginning to end. Finished strong. Oleo in one, 23 minutes. ARTURO BERNARDI: Italian protean artist. The act is divided into three sections,- a one act play, impersonations of famous composers, and a one act comedy divulging the secret of making the rapid changes. The act is distinctly novel and created a most favorable impression. All of the work went immensely. One of the most distinct hits the house has had in many a day. Special in 4, 25 minutes. MABELLE ADAMS: "The Gypsy Violinist". She makes quite a pleasing appearance in a unique sort of costume and plays the violin fairly well. She was favorably received and got by satisfactorily. Not a distinct hit but answered the purpose very nicely. Oleo in one, 12 minutes. VALERIE BERGERE & CO: "Billie's First Love". Miss Bergere was given a reception upon her entrance and she held the undivided attention of her audience from the beginning to the end. The act went big. At the finish she took several curtains. No possible fault to find. 27 minutes, dark fancy, in three. WALTER KELLY: "The Virginia Judge". He has some little of the old material and a whole lot of new. Made the biggest hit he ever has scored in this house. Went tremendously, kept the audience in an uproar all the time he was on, and finished excellently. 22 minutes, oleo in one. THE ASAHI TROUPE: Six Japs in a decidedly interesting and entertaining assortment of work. They were a success all the way through and finished big. 19 minutes, special set in 4. MOVING PICTURES: O. K.
