CHASE'S WASHINGTON. WEEK Mch. 8TH, 1909 THE GREAT RICHARDS Billed as "A Gorgeous Combination of Art and Color" and plays up to the billing. Good enough for the middle of a program. J. FRANCIS [?] and CORTRAN SAYLES Clever talk, comedy songs and eccentric dancing, all of which is good and the house was kept in a continual laughing atmosphere. SAM J. CURTIS and Co. "A Session at School". Pretty good singer and quite a bit copied from other acts. Full of Curtis' comedy and one of the girls possesses more than an usual good voice. THE SIX [CUTTEYS?] There is no use talking, this is the best musical act we every play. Full stage, can close in one. INTERMISSION HOLMES'S {?MA?] Yes, and here is an act which in our judgement is the bestof its kind. BILLIE MONTGOMERY and FLORENCE E. MOORE The piano work, songs and dances caught the fancy of our audience and were slow to let them finish at all. Good comedy, good work throughout. Open in two, close in one. LA VESE, CROSS and Co. Four special scenes which they carry. Fine acrobatic work and a good, silent comedian, combine to make up an offering of unusual excellence. Full stage THE AMERICAN VITAGRAPH "Wood and Pulp Milliry". Good and interesting film. H. Winnifred De Witt, Mgr.
