Ed Gray. On at 4.52, 15 minutes in one. Three shows. Gray always does well in this house and is capable of holding the 2.30 and 8.30 o'clock spots. Great value at his figure. The Bentinck, Brewer Co. On at 5.07, 18 minutes full stage. A sketch by a local dramatist presented by a local company. Cuts. Monroe and Mack--Use of the word "damned". Instructed to substitute the word "Possum" or "coon" for "Skunk" Neil Burgess & Co.--Use of word "damned" Bentinck, Brower Co.--All "damns". Suggestion of the word "Hell." Comment. This is the heaviest show I think I have ever seen staged in vaudeville, but we nevertheless got away with only one bad wait this afternoon. A re-arrangement of the bill should eliminate this and make a perfect running show, which should prove to be one of the best of the season. The re-arrangement is as follows;-- A Overture B Louis Guertin C Ed Gray D The Picquays E Monroe and Mack F Evans & Lee G "pals" H Claire Romaine I The Mermaids J Jerome & Schwartz K The Trapnells L Whitaker & Hill M Neil Burgess & Co. N Kinetograph
