-2- Andrew Mack & Co. On at 3.44, 29 minutes full stage, special set. Mr. Mack went very well this afternoon. He undoubtedly drew some money and will continue to do so through the week, for Boston is one of his strongholds. The sketch is far, far better than when I first saw it in New York, in fact it is considerably superior to the usual run of vehicles used by legitimate stars in vaudeville. Bellclair Brothers. On at 4.13, 6 minutes in one, special plush drop, close 3 minutes in two or full stage, 9 minutes in all. To my mind, and to the minds of many others I find, this is unquestionably vaudeville's greatest gymnastic act. It is certainly a marvelous exhibition of strength and skill by two particularly well built and fine appearing young fellows. The chances are that they will have the months of August, September, October and November open for engagements in America. They open in England in December, and will remain abroad for nearly two years. They are working on a couple of new stunts. Kinetograph. On at 4.22. "Scenes at the Montreal Winter Carnival"--A very interesting series of pictures. "A Hot Remedy"--An excellent comic. Comment. This show ran smoothly this afternoon and seemed to give general satisfaction. I think, however, it is possible to get even better results from it and have made the following re-arrangement for this evening;-- Overture Melrose and Kennedy Annie and Effie Conley Barnes and Crawford John C. Bowker Bellclair Brothers John E. Hazzard Andrew Mack & Co. Charles F. Semon Skating Act (Butler and Bassett) Kinetograph.
