CHASE'S WASHINGTON Week Apr. 12th, 1909. #$#$#$#$#$#$#$#$#$#$#$#$#$ VERONICA and HURL-FALLS Clever acrobats and acceptable comedy. Full stage. ED GRAY Bills himself, "The Tall Tale Teller". Our people did not take to this act. In one. THE HENGLER SISTERS Good dancers, but unless eccentric dancing of exceptionally good character, we cannot stir up much enthusiasm. Full stage, closing in one. HOWARD and LAUGHLIN "My Big Sister's Beau". Clean comedy and catchy songs carried this act along very successfully, Everybody liked them. Full stage. INTERMISSION Mr. and Mrs. FREDERIC VOELKER The act consists of violin playing by Mr, Voelker, accompanied by Mrs. Voelker on the piano, and is a pleasing number, but they carry a full stage set and act would be more valuable, in our judgement, if all in one. Full stage. HOWARD and HOWARD "The Hebrew Messenger Boy and the Thespian". From an applause standpoint this seemed to be the hit of the bill. In one. HAL DAVIS and Co. "PALS". Of course the fight on the stairway at the finish is the whole act and this seemed to create the usual exciting interest. Full stage. THE AMERICAN VITAGRAPH "Lady Chauffeurs", A pretty good comedy film. H. Winnifred De Witt, Manager.
