BIJOU THEATRE PAWTUCKET R.I. Moving Pictures and Vaudeville 3 days Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday June 14th 15th 16th 1909 COLLINS & LABELLE Upside down dancers and Contortionists Man and woman, singing, dancing and contortion. woman is a good contortionist, they have a high pedestal and the man dances on the under part of the pedestal with his head near the floor at the same time the woman is dancing on the top. Its a good novelty act runs 12 minutes full stage, close in one with dancing, got a good hand when they went off THE VALADONS Wire Walkers Man and woman, they use Bycycle on the wire, woman works on a tight wire and the man on slack wire. The act dont amount to much and did not go very well at the matinee, it went a little better at night. Just a little comedy in it, I guess its put in to get more time. Act only runs 7 minutes full stage. They belong in Pawtucket and I guess they will go all right JIMMY COVENEY Monologue, straight make up. He is a bad singer but he had a good line of talk and made a hit. 12 minutes in one MR & MRS Wm P BURT and DAUGHTER Sketch, The Burglars Christmas Eve Its a good sketch and the plot will make it go any where. Its all for the Child. It would be better with another man and woman in it, but the Child is all right and it got a big hand. Think it will draw some people women especially David R. Buffinton BIJOU FORMERLY KEITH'S PAWTUCKET BIJOU THEATRE Pawtucket R.I. May 10-11-12 MOVING PICTURES and VAUDEVILLE Billy Ray Ordinary Musical Act, Chinese makeup, works in one time 14 minutes, no comedy Dilla & Templeton Two men, Novelty Contortionists and very good. A strong act and will make good any where. Special scenery. 10 minutes full stage Bon Morse Monologue, Tramp makeup, neat. Monologues do not go very well here as a rule but this fellow got them going although his stuff was a little over their heads, dancing at the finish of his act went big consider his act one that will make good most any where 18 minutes in 1 Annie Abbott, the Georgia Magnet Act depends to a great extent on the committee which is hard to get, however she worked hard and give a first class performance and I am sure that the act will draw some money as it makes them talk 25 minutes full stage David R Buffinton BIJOU FORMERLY KEITH'S PAWTUCKET
