-2- Cunningham and Marion. On at 3.13, 14 minutes in one. One of the most valuable comedy acts in one in vaudeville to-day, for it is out of the ordinary, full of laughs and can hold almost any spot. They have improved considerably since we first played them here last December. Mlle. Dazie & Company. On at 3.27, open in 1 1/2 for 5 minutes, special drop, then 16 minutes, special set, full stage, 21 minutes in all. Presenting for the first time the wordless playlet, "L'Amour de L'Artist," which on account of Boston's puritanical proclivities we call "In An Artist's Studio." The sketch scored heavily here this afternoon. The music is beautiful and Dazie has a chance to introduce two extremely effective dances. It is probable that she will introduce another in the character of the flower girl in the first scene. If New York had not been satiated with Salomes and nearly nude nymphs without number, there would be no question in my mind but what this act would be a positive sensation. As it is, I am afraid it will be found lacking positive sensation. As it is, I am afraid it will be found lacking in the qualities that would causes a furore, although it is distinctly a novelty and capitally presented. There is no gainsaying the fact that Dazie has a most magnetic personality and is an artiste to her finger tips. Perhaps "to her toe tips" would be a better way to put it. In almost every city outside of New York, however, I feel that it would create a lot of talk and prove a great drawing card. Went with remarkable smoothness this afternoon for a first performance and is bound to improve greatly over its premier. Wynn and Lee. On at 3.48, 15 minutes in one. One of the best two men comedy acts in one in vaudeville to-day, vastly superior to the original Wynn and Lewis act, or the Wynn and Lewis act of to-day. Their material is all clean and bright. Another act that is sure to improve. The Bounding Gordons. On at 4.03, 9 minutes full stage. While this is not an ideal closing act for this house and would be of more value up the bill, still it is one of the best acrobatic acts of the day and introduces a number of novel features. The three boys are really wonderful athletes. Kinetograph. On at 4.12. "The Note in the Show."--A pretty good story picture with some comedy. "Bottled Up."--A very good novelty comedy film. Comment. A rattling good show, particularly well suited for this season of the year, as it is full of action and good music.
