BIJOU THEATRE PAWTUCKET R. I. Vaudeville and Moving Pictures 3 days Thursday, Friday and Saturday July, 1st 2nd 3rd DIXON & ROSS Dutch Comedians, singing and talking, they did not get a smile until they started to sing a parody they sang two pretty good one and went off with very little applause 10 minutes in one. Dutch acts can not make good here unless they are out of the ordinary and this one is not WILL SMITH Singing and talking act, "Tommy Stickers, the Village Bill Poster" its a novelty singing and talking act, in one song he shows three sheets of different Actors and Actresses while singing. Its a pretty good act and went well with the audience 10 minutes in one BARRETT & BAYNE Singing talking and dancing. man and woman good singers and dancing is good went the best of any act on the bill, well dressed some fairly good comedy and moving all the time 10 minutes in one DAINTY DOTTIE DALE Hold over from first three days David R. Does 10 minutes in two, a bunch of foolishness with no merit at all but it made good and he went off with a good hand WADE SISTERS High Class singing act, make one change of costume from a straight to Spanish 10 minutes in one. They are good singers but act very Amateur in fact I beleive this is about the second time they have been on the stage. They are the daughters of the local Bill Poster MOZART TRIO Comedy musical act, three men, two men straight and the 3rd makes up as an Italian and he is good, they have a good assortment of instruments mostly brass and they know how to play them, For the closing number the house is darkened and slides thrown on the sheet of the selection that they play same as illustrated songs, there is a lot of give us your kind applause slides in the set and the act winds up STRONG 18 minutes full stage DAINTY DOTTIE DALE & Co Two children girl and boy in a comedy sketch, AS CHILDREN SEE US. Two children giving an imitation of man and wife, the girl introduces some singing and imitations in the act that go fairly well. It is a talking act with too much talking to it but there is some good comedy in the sketch and with the children doing it it goes big where grown people would not get a hand. The sketch made good and got a nice hand at the finish 15 minutes full stage interior David R Buffinton
