BIJOU THEATRE PAWTUCKET R. I. Moving Pictures and Vaudeville 3 days Thursday, Friday and Saturday June 24--25--26 1909 FEENEY & REILLEY Singing, talking and dancing act. Two men, there singing and talking do not amount to much but they finish with some good eccentric and straight dancing that goes big 15 minutes in one and went off with a big hand JACK INGLIS Singing, talking and dancing. He has a good line of talk and his songs went well, does dancing for a finish. His act runs 14 minutes in one and he made a hit The other two acts that are hold overs from the first three days are:- THE ALABAMA TRIO singing, talking and dancing MYRTLE BYRNE & CO Sensational Sharpshooters David R Buffinton BIJOU THEATRE FORMERLY KEITHS PAWTUCKET R.I. BIJOU THEATRE PAWTUCKET R. I. Week Commencing Monday August 16th 1909 FRED and BESSIE LUCIER Rural Comedy Sketch man introduces some good violin playing, comedy, and the woman does a good comedy song. The act is funny and made them holler They finish in one with a country dance. Act runs 18 minutes BELLE GORDON Lady Bag Puncher, she has a man assistant who is excess baggage, the only thing he does is play the violin while she makes a change of costume. The act made good and went off with a good hand 12 minutes full stage JOHN RUCKER Colored man, comedian. He did not seem to catch them in the afternoon done a little better at night but fell short of what he ought to do to them as they like the colored men. His dancing at the finish of act was only fair. 12 minutes in one BLACK BEAUTY A Dramatic Playlet in 3 scenes. Its about a horse Black Beauty, race track scene, ect. Melodramatic, 8 people and the horse 3 comedy parts It made a big hit here at the matinee and night show Run 33 minutes and made good all the time. Carry 2 complete sets of scenery LE ROY and STEVENS 2 women, play the banjo and sing and the smaller one does a buck dance that is O.K. The act is dressed well but is only ordinary. They went fairly well 12 minutes in one JEROME and HUNTER Man and woman comedy acrobatic act. The woman does the comedy and the comedy dont amount to much. The man does some clever acrobatic stunts the act made good and went off with a big hand) 9 minutes full stage
