REPORT MARYLAND THEATRE Baltimore Md. Week Of August 30th. 1909. Fred'k C. Schanberger. FLYING MARTINS= Double trapeze act. 6 Minutes, Full Stage. Undoubtedly the fastest and one of the most pleasing acts in vaudeville. FROSINI = Accordeon player. 12 minutes in 1. Second trip here and repeated former success. HORTON & LA TRISKA="The Clown And The Doll." 16 minutes, 5 of which can be done in 1. A real novelty and a distinct feature on any bill. JULIE RING & CO. = 5 people in all. Presenting a facical sketch entitled "Choosing A Husband", 18 minutes full stage. This act received its first production here this afternoon and scored heavily. The theme is original as it introduces as prospective grooms three distinct character types. Miss Ring has used good judgement in the selecition of her supporting company. The act a whole was a success. WORMWOOD'S CIRCUS = 20 minutes Full stage. A scream from start to finish. HEIM CHILDREN = 19 minutes in 1. This act is a genuine find and made one real big hit today. Willie Heim is the most versatile comedian I have seen in many a day. I feel sure this act will be the talk of the town this week. GREAT LESTER = 26 minutes in 1. Another real artist that our people will talk about and come back to see. An artistic triumph. PRINCESS RAJAH = Presenting the "Cleopatra Dance". 14 minutes Full stage. Special set. This is Rajah's first appearance outside New York and the act as given here today was a positive artistic hit. I feel that no fault could be found with her new arrangement of her dance, in any house on the circuit. She will be a valauable attraction for us this week, closing what in my opinion is one of the fastest, most pleasing and artistic vaudeville shows that it has ever been my pleasure to witness KINETOGRAPH = Wrights Aeroplane, A good picture just now as the newspapers are full of these subjects. F.C. Schanberger. SPECIAL NOTE= As we desire to preserve a file of your criticism each week, we will be pleased to exchange with you and to have you mail us your criticism every Monday as we will mail you ours. Thanking you in advance Very Truly Yours Fred. D. Schanberger.
