7 Report of show playing at Keith's Providence Theatre week of February 4th, 1918. The show this week is quite good; the acts individually are all right; but there are too many repetitions of previous seasons and not sufficient comedy. CHARLES LOVENBERG, Manager. CLAUDE RAUF: Wire act of mediocre quality, served as an opener, and nothing better. 7 minutes F.S. HALLEN & FULLER: Same act as they gave us last season, which was well accepted. 19 minutes in one. MME. DOREE'S OPERATIC CELEBRITIES:Splendid singing act, which made its usual hit. 24 minutes F.S. BANCROFT & BROSKE: Presenting a new act of singing and comedy that was very pleasing. 20 minutes in one. GLADYS HANSON: IN "Liberty Aflame". A splendidly produce spectacle with a very stirring patriotic appeal. Went very big. 16 minutes F.S. BERT HANLON: Mr. Hanlon's material this season is much better than that which he gave us on his previous visit, and he went much better. 15 minutes in one. MC MAHON, DIAMOND & CHAPLOW: Singing and dancing act. A good lively number that got away with t the closing position in first straight style. 10 minutes in two. MOTION PICTURES: O.K. NO CUTS.
