Boston, Mass., B. F. Keith's Feb. 18, 1918. Australian Creightons;- 8 min. f.s.. Two men in a very good novelty juggling act. Handled with plenty of speed. Made good opening. El Cleve:- 12 min. in 1. This man opens with a Scotch song in Scotch costume and goes into a routine of numbers on Xylaphone. Went good. Kimberly & Arnold;- 19 min. f.s. and 1., spl. set, This couple have a very nice offering and while it started rather slow, it picked up when they went into 1 and closed to a good hand. Wright & Dietrich:- 18 min. in 1 1/2, spl. set. This is one of the best sketches this well known act has shown here; pleased all the way through and closed to a big hand. Santos & Hayes:- 15 min. in 1. This is the first appearance here of these two girls and they certainly received a lot of laughs making one of the hits of the show. Laura Hope Crews:- 25 min. f.s.. This sketch is very capably handled by Miss Crews and associates and went over very well Frances Kennedy:- 17 min. in 1. Miss Kennedy has some very refreshing comedy in both song and talk and a personality that wins immediate favor. Pleased very much closing to a good hand. George White and Emma Haig 20 min., spl. set, f.s. and 1. George White seems to please much better with Miss Haig than on any of his previous visits. The act itself is exceptionally good and went over very big. Mme Jewell's Toyland [8?] min. f.s.. This is the conventional Mannikin offering well staged with few novelties. Held the audience pretty well. CUTS Laura Hope Crews:- Please eliminate the word "God" used two or three times in your act. Frances Kennedy:- Please try and substitute some other line for "When they ought to be confessing" in your Hawaiian number and oblige. Boston, Mass., Boston, Feb. 18th., 1918. DeWitt, [Burnee?] & Torrence:- 12 min. f.s., spl. set. This well known acrobatic novelty pleased very much. Made good opening. Clair Hanson & Village Four:- 14 min. in 1. Miss Hanson with Quartette of boys has a very neat act with quite a little comedy and good singing. Went well. Potter & Hartwell;- 14 min. f.s., spl. set. Man and woman in a combination of acrobats and dancing. Went good. Willins & Jordan:- 14 min. in 1. Neat singing and piano act. They have a well selected program and good voices. Went well. Maxwell Musical Quintette:- 16 min. f.s. Five men presenting what might be termed a Minstrel first part using Club Buffet for set. Both singing and comedy were above the average and made good closing act.
