PHILADELPHIA B.F. KEITH'S FEB. 18, 8 PATHE. A good lot of pictures. THE FLEMINGS. 7 min. Two men in a series of poses followed by a routine of hand-to-hand balancing and strength feats. A very good opener. LEWIS & LEOPOLD. 17 min. Two young fellows with a piano and a lot of good songs. They work with plenty of speed, get their stuff over in good shape and were very well liked. MAZIE KING, assisted by E. E. Marini. 13 min. With a program of numbers prettily staged and costumed and featured by the exceptional toe dancing of Miss King, this act registered a decided hit. With the exception of one number, the entire series is new and well executed. HALLIGAN & SYKES. "Somewhere in Jersey." 20 min. This act was one of the big laughing hits of the show. Halligan's breezy style of handling the material kept the audience laughing heartily and Miss Skyes proved very likable and the act finished to a big hand. ELSA RUEGGER & CO. 19 min. A very high-class musical offering which was very well received. Miss Ruegger is assisted by Zhay Clark, harpist, and E. Lichenstein, violinist. Their program consists of solos, duets and trios, all classical numbers. The act was an applause hit. "RUBEVILLE." 29 min. This is the third time for this act and it was just as big a hit as ever, stopping the show for a couple of encores. The comedy and music hit a high mark of favor and the act could have run several minutes longer. LEW DOCKSTADER. 19 min. His monologue offering this year is one of the best he has ever offered and in addition to keeping the audience amused, he won a lot of applause with some up-to-date humor on the war and finished strong with a tribute to the administration. ANNETTE KELLERMANN. 38 min. A great big flash with Kellermann always the central figure but surrounded by a bunch of attractive girls, prettily costumed and in a series of songs and dances. Miss Kellermann has two principal dance numbers, a song, walks the right wire and finishes with her diving. The audience was interested at all times but, of course, waited for the tank display which the applauded freely and the act closed strong. GENERAL REMARKS. With the Kellermann act in the closing position and a corking good show leading up to it, there was absolutely nothing wrong with this bill and with a capacity audience the show moved along without a hitch from start to finish. Kellermann who has cancelled all of her time after next week, however, insisted that she was unable to hold down the closing spot and rather than take any chances of losing her with a big advance sale, the show was changed to the following order:- A Orchestra B Pathe C The Flemings D Lewis & Leopold E Rubeville F Elsa Ruegger G Kellermann H Halligan & Sykes I Lew Dockstader J Mazie King K Exit
