Boston, Mass., B. F. Keith's March 11, 1918. Black & White:- 8 min. f.s., spl. set. Two girls in a lively knockabout, acrobatic turn, doing some clever stunts and presented in a novel manner. Good opener. Embs & Alton:- 12 min. in 1. Boy and girl with a nicely arranged program of songs well handled. The girl is at the piano and the boy also plays one violin number. Went good. Bert Melrose:- 16 min. f.s., spl. This act remains about the same as when played here before, seemed to drag a little but finished good. Olive Briscoe and Al Rough 15 min. in 1. Miss Briscoe has a couple of pretty gowns and her first number went over very good, but the act drops in the middle then comes back to a fairly good hand for the finish. Annette Kellerman:- 41 min. in 1 and f.s. Miss Kellerman has rather a pretentious offering of singing, wire walking, dancing and diving assisted by a number of girls. This act makes quite a flash but seemed rather tame until Miss Kellerman starts her diving stunt. Arrived late and had to close the show. Held the audience very well in the afternoon. Doing business. Lieut. B. C. Hilliam:- 15 min. in 1. This man appears in civilian clothes at the piano; sings a few songs, plays a couple of piano solos and tells a story or two. Went fair. Fern & Davis;- 19 min. in 1 and 1 1/2 spl. A very capable couple doing a variety of singing, talking and dancing; Received many laughs and pleased very much. Mme. Cronin's Novelty;- 13 min. f.s., spl. The electrical novelties are about the same as used in the old act. A pretty and graceful girl dancer and Mme Cronin's soprano solo add a little variety.
