Boston, Mass., B. F. Keith's Mar. 18th., 1918 June Salmo:- 10 min. f.s., spl. set. Contortionist working on pedestal and trapeze. The stage setting and lighting effects add materially to this act and it opened fairly well. LEAVITT & LOCKWOOD:- 17 min. in 1. This act starts slowly but the last six or seven minutes has some good comedy "bits" closing to a fair hand. John & Winnie Hennings:- 14 min. f.s.. This couple have appeared in this act here several times. The eccentric dancing of the man put the act over to a good hand. "The Weaker One" This dramatic war playlet has an exceptional cast and was fairly well received. Josie Heather:- 20 min. in 1. Miss Heather with some new songs, pretty costumes, brightened up the show in this particular spot. Went over very well. Lydell & Higgins:- 18 min. in 1. this is the third visit of this well known team in their present "skit" and went just as big as on former occasions. Franklyn Ardell:- 16 min. f.s., spl. This is a clever little comedy well handled by Mr. Ardell and his assistant, Miss Sheldon. Received plenty of laughs and closed to a good hand. Louise Dresser:- 20 min. in 1. Miss Dresser is just as charming and entertaining as on her previous visits, and although none of her numbers received applause, she suffered considerably from confliction on the bill. Earl Emmy's Pets:- Very good act of the kind but hardly strong enough for high class vaudeville. -Remarks- While the acts on this bill without exception are very good, there is no real punch in the show and with so many acts of a similar character, the effect of the monotony was very evident from the audience.
