Boston, Mass. Keith's August 19, 1918. Hearst Pathe News: Interesting. Pershing's 4th of July in Paris: Created considerable enthusiasm. The Ramsdells & Deyo: 12 min. f.s. spec. Two girls and a boy in a fast dancing act. Pretty costumes and hard workers. Made a good opener. The Stantons: 15 min. in one. These boys have a good line of chatter with a little dancing. Went good. Beaumont & Arnold: 17 min. f.s. in one. This act has played here on a number of occasions but went over better than usual this time. Fradkin & Tell: 19 min. f.s. This man is an exceptional violinist and Miss Tell is good with a very pleasing voice. Went over good. Leo Beers: 19 min. in 1. Mr. Beers always pleases here and went even better than usual this time. The Decorators: 19 min. f.s. This comedy skit was well handled and got plenty of laughs throughout, closing to a fair hand. Ames & Winthrop: 20 min. in 2 1/2 and 1. This couple presented an act new to Boston. There numbers were all good but suffered through lack of scenery. Went good. Mme. Chilson-Ohrman: 16 min. in 1. Miss Ohrman was in very good voice and went over big. Bostock's Circus: 14 min. f.s. spec. This is a conventional circus act and did not create much interest until the boys came out of the audience to be taught to ride. Closed to a fair hand. Remarks: Ames & Winthrop drop did not arrive Monday. This same things happened when they played here previously and it looks as though they might be a little neglectful in regard to looking after the baggage. Cuts: The Stantons. Please eliminate he burlesque on Salvation Army.
