PHILADELPHIA B.F. KEITH'S SEPT. 2, 8 PATHE. A good lot of pictures. THE RIALS. 14 min. A ring act by a man and woman who have some very good aerial tricks surrounded by bits of dancing, juggling and comedy. Made an excellent opener. REGAY & LORRAINE SISTERS. 12 min. Young fellow and two girls in a variety of dances. Use five numbers all different, well executed and attractively dressed. Act was very well liked. "THE DECORATORS." 20 min. Four men and a woman in a surefire hokum act. Most of the comedy is derived from a bit like Willard Simms' paper-hanging and it kept the house in a roar of laughter. TOMBES & PARKER. 14 min. The man was with "The Bride Shop" for two seasons and with Miss Parker has been in musical comedy for the past season. Comedy talk, songs and eccentric dancing make up their present offering. The comedy got some good laughs and the act closed to a good hand. AMERICAN BEAUTY BALLET. 14 min. Leo Pirnikoff and Ethel Rose supported by a sextette of coryphees execute a series of ballet numbers. Their dances do not differ materially from those offered by other ballets but each number is prettily done and the whole makes a very pretty dancing novelty which was warmly received. WHITING & BURT. 18 min. This act has played here several times but they were just as big a hit as ever. Several of their songs were old but were done with a finish that makes them different. Each one was a hit and they closed to solid applause, being brought back for an extra encore. KAJIYAMA. 26 min. He has complicated writing feats by one or two new twists and his exhibition of quadruple mind concentration held the big house to the closest attention. Finished strong. VAN & SCHENCK. 17 min. The applause hit of the show. Did a couple of old songs and several new ones, all splendidly sung. Every number got big applause and they could have continued after an extra encore. One of the best acts they have ever given. THE BERT HUGHES CO. 6 min. A basketball game by two girls and two men on bicycles with a girl referee that helps build up some good laughs. It is a novelty that held the big holiday audience seated and furnished a very satisfactory closing act. GENERAL REMARKS. This show went over in great shape with a capacity Labor Day audience. It contains a lot of good comedy, music and novelty.
