PHILADELPHIA B.F. KEITH'S SEPT. 9, 8 PATHE. The usual good average of pictures. TOJETTI & BENNETT. 9 min. Neatly dressed couple who do a variety of dances ending with dances of all nations. Made a very pretty and satisfactory opener. FORCE & WILLIAMS. Man and woman in a combination comedy and musical act. While this act has done well in our three-a-day houses, their comedy failed to get over this afternoon to any extent but the finishing numbers were well received and they closed to a fair hand. will just about hold a number two spot. (13 min.) VIVIAN HOLT & LILLIAN ROSEDALE. A soprano and pianiste who also sings. All the numbers presented were high-class and held the attention of the audience throughout, making a strong finish with their own arrangement of "The Missouri Waltz." A good high-class number on any bill. 16 min. DELEON & DAVIES. 19 min. Presenting their skit of last year, "Behind the Front." This is a very neat couple and all their work was appreciated, holding the spot down in good shape and closing to a big hand. FRANCES NORDSTROM & WILLIAM PINKHAM. Presenting the comedy sketch, "All Wrong." 13 min. This sketch has been playing on the circuit now for a number of years and was just what was necessary for this spot on the bill. Held the attention all the way through and the surprise finish was a scream. (13 min.) RAE ELEANOR BALL. 18 min. Miss Ball is always a favorite in this house and the program that she presented with the assistance of her brother with the cello was extremely well chosen. Scored a hit for this class of act. MC INTYRE & HEATH. 32 min. These boys did "The Man From Montana" for the first time in this house for nine years. Received a tremendous reception from the capacity house and kept them screaming for thirty minutes. There is no question about the ability of McIntyre & Heath to entertain a Philadelphia audience and as usual they showed their drawing capacity by the opening matinee. VAN & SCHENCK. 14 min. These two boys with an entirely new program repeated their hit of last week. COLLINS & HART were unable to appear on account of the non-arrival of their baggage and Bowers, Walters & Crocker were brought in from the Grand Opera House to substitute for them. They closed the show satisfactorily. Collins & Hart will be in the bill tonight. GENERAL REMARKS. This is a good average vaudeville show and evidently pleased the matinee audience very much. As the public want a laugh and the name of McIntyre & Heath means laughs, look for a satisfactory week's business.
