Boston Keith's Sept. 9, 8 Hearst-Pathe News: Interesting. Frank Hartley: 9 min. f.s. This man does some very neat and clever juggling, works fast and made a nice opening act. Gallerini Sisters: 12 min. in 1. Two attractive girls playing cornets, accordion, and violin, with a little dancing. Went well. Current of Fun: 17 min. f.s. spec. This act is well staged and carries a very good comedian who comes out of the audience. Was interesting and got a good many laughs. Closed to a fair hand. Lynn Cowan: 13 min. in 1. This boy has a nice routine of songs and plays a few numbers on the saxaphone. Went well. Maid of France: 23 min. f.s. spec. As a patriotic effort this act made a good impression, particularly the work of Madame Besson. The attempt at comedy lines by the English soldier seemed rather out of place. Went fair. Juliet: 24 min. f.s. This girl does a number of impersonations of prominent vaudeville and musical comedy stars, and some were very good, Went well. Cooper & Ricardo: 20 min. in 1. This act started rather slowly in this position but got going nicely and closed to a good hand. Song Bird Revue: 34 min. one and f.s. spec. This act is very well staged and Mr. Howard has arranged an exceptional program of songs, and although our show was running late, held practically the entire house. Went good. War Pictures: Closed the show very well. Cuts: Cooper & Ricardo: Please eliminate the line "Break her-----promise."
