PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S November 4 8 PATHE - 15 min. Up to the usual average with good war pictures. HAZEL MORAN - 6 min. Did very well in the opening spot with a good variety of rope tricks. TILU & WARD - 10 min. Two men in a comedy acrobatic and dancing turn. Open with a song and dance and finish with comedy floor tumbling. CLAIRE VINCENT & CO. "No Trespassing" 19 min. Very good successor to her former sketch. It is a domestic comedy, having a dramatic touch and a surprise finish. Lots of laughs and well played. Very well received. WILTON SISTERS - 19 min. A very good sister team. Girls play piano and violin and sing, also do a bit of dancing. Material good and girls dress nicely. Went fine. "SOMEWHERE WITH PERSHING" - 22 min. This is a trench scene from Jack Norworth's "Odds and Ends" and well handled by E. F. Hawley & Co. makes a first rate vaudeville vehicle. It is a military story with plenty of comedy to lighten it up and the sketch made a fine impression. JOHN GARDNER & MARIE HARTMAN - 15 min. Man and woman in a nut comedy act, the girl carrying most of the comedy. Have a good line of crossfire talk which got plenty of laughs. Finished with a well handled travesty bit that took them off to a big hand. GEORGE WHITE - 27 min. The best dancing act of its kind we have played in a long time. Four girls supporting White make a great flash in several changes of costumes and their dancing is high class. White is as good as ever and his work stands out strongly. Act was a big hit. EDDIE BORDEN - 16 min. Has "Sir" Fred Courtenay as assistant in a nut comedy act. Most of it is low comedy material, but well done and got plenty of laughs. Songs and instrumental music are used. Finished strong. PAUL LeVARRE & BRO. - 8 min. Two men in an excellent hand-to-hand balancing turn. Have a routine of showy tricks and did very well in the closing spot. GENERAL REMARKS - This was a very good show and played splendidly to a crowded house. Finding that the men in the Gardner & Hartman and Borden & Courtney conflicted in their work, the latter act changed places with the Wilton Sisters for the evening show and it was a big improvement all around. CUTS WILTON SISTERS - Introduction of song "By Request of the Jewish Branch of the Knights of Columbus".
