Dear Mr. Lovenberg: The following is a report on the show at the "Scenic" the week of Dec 2nd. First half. Josie O'Meers, Wire act. Poor. Esther Walker & Co. From Pee Wee Valley, Kentucky. Miss Walker does a high class act. Her dancing is very good, she sings fairly good and her costumes are very nice. The audience did not seem to appreciate her style of work in other words it was over their heads. $125.00 to much money for a classie act for the thick heads we get here. Mack and Valmer. Travelling a la Carte. Special drop. Gypsy Violinist & a Travelling Salesman The violine playing by the girl in the act was pleasing, they have a lot of good bright stuff in their conversation, and got quite a lot of laughts. The act went fairly good Armstrong and James, The Minstrel Boys. (Blackface) Good act, went very good. A pleasing show, but nothing to draw them in. Second half. Thursday Claud Austin. Juggler, went very good tonight Thornton & Thornton. Singing and talking act, went over with good laughts and applause Carboni & Raymond. Italian singers and guitar playing. went good Song and Dance Revue Good singing, dancing, pretty costumes and scenery. A classy number. The show as a whole went big tonight. Reddy
