REPORT OF BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I., Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, December 23, 24 and 25. DEGNON & CLIFTON--- Two men; in "The Unexpected"--Novelty Act, opening as a sketch. Do a clever routine of hand balancing, etc. Talking all thro act. 9 min. full stage; went good. JIMMIE CONNERS--- The Irish Minstrel--Sings Irish songs and tells stories; also gives a recitation; very neat appearance; this went over very good; 10 min. in one. MADAME ELLIS-- "The Woman Who Knows"--Calls out names correctly; tells where different people are and what they are doing; From the number of letters received to-night seems as if the women folks have fell for this "hard". 18 min.
