PROVIDENCE, R. I. B. F. KEITH'S DEC.#30th, 8 We have a very good bill indeed this week, although the headline act is hardly up to what I expected of it. In general the show gave splendid satisfaction, containing as it does a little of everything, and I am looking for a good week's business. CHAS LOVENBERG. TOGAN & GENEVA: Wire performers; the man being exceptionally good. One trick, his somersault on the wire being a feat I have never seen accomplished as he does it, by any other performer. 8 min. full stage. TED DONER: Songs and dances, imitation of various dancers which in some cases he does better than the original and some dances of his own. Very good act. 13 min. in one. THE ROYAL GASCOIGNES: This is another one of the several cases of where one person works and two are programmed rather ridiculously. The man is a most excellent performer and does some of the best juggling work we have had in a long time and his comedy is good also. Made a decided hit. 13 min. full stage. He does the stunt at the finish which could be done in one. THE WILTON SISTERS: Two very youthful appearing young girls in an attractive act of singing, violin and piano playing and a little dancing. They made a very big hit. 19 min. in 1. TARZAN: It is only necessary to say of this act, that it was one of the biggest laughing hits we have had in many a day. 11 min. full stage. CLAUDIA COLEMAN: Impressions of types of women. Practically all talking. A nice act which got over first rate. 15 min. in one. LOIS JOSEPHINE & TYLER BROOKE: I don't want to give the impression from the statement at the head of my report, that this is a bad act, some of their work is excellent. It takes them a long time to get started however, and I can't see why as far as what they get over the footlights is concerned, that they base their worth at so a high a figure. Aside from a couple of the early acts, they got the least applause on the bill. 25 min. full stage. MOSS & FRYE: Colored comedians who scored a great laughing success. 14 min. in one. JAMES DUTTON & CO: Society equestrians with their white horses, dogs and paraphernalia and their own white costumes, they make the most striking picture in vaudeville and their entrance is always sure of a round of applause. To this they have a very pretty act which met with marked approval. 9 min. full stage. MOTION PICTURES: O. K.
