PROVIDENCE, R. I. B. F. KEITH'S JAN. 6th, 9 The show this week does not by any means compare with those we have had recently. There is nothing of any great strength in it and some things that do not hold up at all. CHAS. LOVENBERG. SARANOFF & SONIA: With their several dogs. Act of Russian dancing, acrobatics, etc., very bright and lively and starting the show off in great shape. Unfortunately the rest of the show does not hold up to the opener. 7 min. full stage. SUE CREIGHTON: With a young lady at the piano, both of whom I consider very bad, and they got nowhere with the audience. 13 min. in one. MCNALLY DINUS & DEWOLF: THis trio has a couple of good dancing and acrobatic stunts, but there is little of it. The act is not as good as the old wilson & Mc.Nally act. 10 Min. short opening in one, close full stage. LOU & GENE ARCHER: Young fellow and girl of attractive personalities. who did very nicely. Not a great act, but a good one. 17 min. in one. JOVEDDAH DE RAJAH: Three people. Two men work in the audience, one young woman on the stage. The men are black, the young girl could pass for a white woman. They have a very pleasant personality and their work of mind reading and in answering questions asked by patrons as to whereabouts of friend, etc., are exceedingly well done and are the most rapid that has ever yet met my attention. Thursday after the matinee, they give a special seance for ladies. 20 min. full stage. FRANK CRUMMITT: Mr. Crummitt met with his usual success. One of the bright spots of the bill. 13 min. in one. HARRY LANGDON & CO: "Johnny's New Car". A big laughing hit. 19 min. full stage. PHYLISS NELSON-TERRY: Miss Terry has a very pleasing high soprano voice and sings with a lot of intelligence. She also recites a poem or two after her song program which she renders in a very dramatic manner. She is very good. I question whether she is worth what she costs. 15 min. in one. BOOTH & LEANDER: One man comedian, the other does a couple of bicycle tricks and straight. The comedian got quite a few laughs, but the act as a whole is very old fashioned. 7 min. full stage. MOTION PICTURES: O. K. CUTS: Lou & Gene Archer: Entire Romeo and Juliette song.
