REPORT OF BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I., Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, January 6, 7 and 8. HOLLIDAY & WILLETTE--- Man and woman; comedy absurdity entitled "Detailed"--open in one; comedy and song throughout; man as a "cop" in opening; close in evening dress; special drop; 14 min. in one; went good. FRED ALLEN--- "Trying to Get Along"-Original Comedy Monologue interspersed with burlesque, juggling and ventriloquism. 15 min. in one; went good. KARL EMMY & HIS PETS--- "Prettiest Act in Vaudeville"--Ten little Dogs work with a vim and intelligence almost human; do acrobatic feats, slide down ladders both forward and backward, etc., etc. This act is well named; every one seemed to enjoy the antics of the little animals and it went over big; 14 min. full stage.
