PROVIDENCE. R. I. B. F. KEITH'S JAN. 13th, 9 The bill this week plays very well indeed. There is nothing offensive in the whole program, has considerable class, some good comedy and every act on the bill blends well with the other. CHAS. LOVENBERG. THE WHEELER BROS: Two young men who do some very clever acrobatic tricks, interspersed with a little comedy. 6 min. full stage. WM. CUTTY: Mr. Cutty is doing a single act of piano playing, story telling and a song. I think he has the nucleus of a good act, his material is not just right and wants a little working on. He has asked me for some suggestions which I am going to give him to help him a little and possibly may be of some value to him, If not someone can give him some help that I am sure will put him in the class of a fairly good single man. 13 min. in one. KARLETON EMMY'S PETS: Several fox terriers and a couple of other toy dogs, among the best dog act we have had in a long time, in fact, Mr. Emmy's talking throughout the act goes a long way to helping the act, he is quite a comedian and it takes away from it the stamp of being entirely a dumb act. A big hit. 15 min. full stage. EDITH CLIFFORD: With an assistant at the piano, singing several original songs very effectively and scoring very well indeed. 14 min. in one. O'DONNELL & BLAIR: Mr. O'Donnell is a good pantomimist and knockabout comedian and Miss Blair is a good foil. A good laughing act. 11 min. in one. DOROTHY TOYE & SISTER: Sister at the piano also sings a little. Miss Toye as usual scores a very big hit. A much more desirable act than some of the star headliner singers at a big salary that we have recently had. 19 min. in one. and she could have been there 25 minutes if she wanted. to. HYAMS & MCINTYRE: In "Maybloom". Comment upon this act is superfluous. I[t] was simply one great big hit. 26 min. full stage. ANN & MARIE CLARKE: These girls have a very funny opening to their act, likewise a very funny closing. The middle of their act sags although there are one or two bright spots in it, however, they did very well indeed. 17 min. in one. BEN BEYER & AUGUSTA: Mr. Beyer does some very good bicycle riding and comedy and Miss Augusta helps to fill up the stage. 11 min. full stage. MOTION PICTURES: O. K.
