PHILADELPHIA B.F. KEITH'S FEBRUARY 10, 9 CURRENT EVENTS - 13 mins. Up to the usual average. CUMMINS & WHITE - 7 mins. Two men in a very good hand to hand balancing and strength trick act. They work in a very attractive setting and furnished an excellent opener. HOWARD & ROSS - 16 mins. The man is one of the old team of Howard Bros. banjo jugglers. He does some trick work with the instruments, finishing with operatic selections in which the woman sings. It is a novelty musical act and was very well liked. EDYTHE & EDDIE ADAIR - in "The Bootshop", 11 mins. A comedy sketch out of the ordinary with a novel theme and with plenty of bright lines. It got a lot of laughs and finished to a good hand. THE LE GROHS - 8 mins. A pantomimic acrobatic novelty that was a big applause hit. One of the men is a wonderful contortionist and a man and woman lend able support with bits of floor tumbling. The act got some laughs and closed to a very good hand. NAN HALPERIN - 23 mins. Her second week and she was a big applause hit with the same routine of songs she used last week. GEORGE MacFARLANE - 18 mins. He is very popular here. Each of his numbers was well received and he closed very big with a comedy song on Prohibition, being compelled to come back and do an extra number. CECIL LEAN & CLEO MAYFIELD - 17 mins. This act was added to the bill to replace Mlle. Dazie, who cancelled through illness. Lean and Mayfield were well remembered for their musical comedy successes in this city and were well received. Sang several songs, both single and duets, and got over in good shape, closing to a good hand. It is a classy singing turn. THE FOUR MORTONS - 20 mins. This is the first time this new edition of the Four Mortons has played here and they went big in the next to closing spot. Their comedy got plenty of laughs and their dancing made a big hit. The two younger members of the family were very well received in their dainty dancing hit and the whole offering closed strong. OLYMPIA DESVALL & COMPANY - 11 mins. This is one of the biggest and showiest equestrian sets that we play, containing two horses and a large troup of dogs shown by a man and woman. They have worked out an excellent routine with a big finish and did very well in the closing position. GENERAL REMARKS - Although Lean and Mayfield were put in to replace Mlle. Dazie, adding another singing act to the bill, the show played very well on Monday and was very well received by a house that was full capacity.
