PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S April 7th, 9. KINOGRAMS - A very tame lot of pictures which created only passing interest. (11 mins.) ADONIS & DOG - (6 mins.) A very good opening act. He has new stage setting which is very pretty. Uses his usual routine of hand-balancing tricks. The dog in the act is also very good. GREENE & PARKER - 19 mins. With a lot of good comedy talk, well handled, a bit of stepping and a song for the finish, this act got over in very good shape, getting a lot of laughs and finishing to a big hand. JAMES WATTS - 19 mins. Starting slowly with some talk this act developed into a tremendous laughing hit with a very funny travesty on classical dancing. The finish has been changed for the better since the act played here last season and was one of the biggest laughing hits of the show. OLSEN & JOHNSON - (17 mins.) These boys use a lot of nut comedy with their singing and piano numbers, getting a lot of laughs and the act proved a big applause winner. They finished with some travesty instrumental music which gives them a good closing number and earned a big hand. U. S. JAZZ BAND -(20 mins.) A positive riot. These boys played here during the Third Liberty Loan before going to France. They received one of the biggest welcomes ever accorded an act offered on our stage and with their program of popular and jazz music, had the audience applauding heartily. Their jazz finish aroused a regular cyclone of applause. Ensign Moore, the Conductor, was forced to make two speeches before the show was allowed to go on. HARRY & ANNA SEYMOUR - 14 mins. A nut comedy act by a man and woman, the latter doing the comedy and getting plenty of laughs with it. She is a clever girl getting a big return with several imitations of well known stage stars. The man is a very good dancer and a good straight for the girl. They finished to a very big hand. WILLIAM GAXTON & Co. (23 Mins.) in "The Junior Partner" - a comedy playlet with plenty of speed and action to it and five people. This is a typical Gaxton playlet in which his personality is given a lot of chance. It is very well played, got a lot of laughs and finished with liberal applause. FRANK FAY - (17 mins.) Having appeared here recently as principal comedian in one of the New York musical shows, Fay was given a hearty welcome and his monologue and songs got a lot of laughs and applause. He was at a disadvantage following so much nut comedy but his droll style of delivery helped to get his material over. He was very well received. WRIGHT & PERCIVAL - (9 mins.) A very pretty dancing act by a young fellow and girl. They do a variety of dances with a couple of songs, finishing with a lively trot and they closed to a very good hand. GENERAL REMARKS - A great comedy show with several big hits surrounding the Jazz Band which was a riot.
