Man and boy in a remarkable hand-balancing act. Opened show well.
Eadie & Ramsden:- 13 min. 2 1/2.
Boy and girl in a combination of singing and eccentric acrobatics, with a little talk. Went fair.
Jim & Betty Morgan:- 14 min. in one.
This act was very well liked, each number getting a good hand, and closed to big applause.
Owen McGiveney:- 18 min. F.S. Spec.
This well known quick change artist held interest and closed to a good hand.
Emily Darrell:- 14 min. in one.
Good comedy single, got lots of laughs and closed strong.
Lean & Mayfield:- 18 min. F.S.
These folks are using about the same material as on previous visits here, and seemed to please, closing to a fair hand.
Mayo & Lynn:- 18 min. in one. Spec.
This combination got some good laughs, and Mayo's singing was very well liked. Closed to a nice hand.
"Not Yet Marie":-40 min. F.S. Spec.
This act played to quite a walk-out, but seemed to please those remaining.
CUTS: "Not Yet Marie":- Please eliminate pose showing girl in union suit; also the reference of "jumping into bed" in marriage proposal; and the word "damn".
Mayo & Lynn: Please eliminate "Bunker Hill story from your act, also the word "damn".
