PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S April 14th, 9 KINOGRAMS - (17 mins.) A good lot of pictures with Liberty Loan features including Douglas Fairbanks' reel which created quite a lot of enthusiasm. KARTELLI -(8 mins.) A very good wire act. A good routine of tricks with some comedy business to liven it up. Did very well in the opening position. ROSE & MOON - (9 mins.) A young fellow and girl in a series of dances with a couple of song numbers. The man is a very good stepper. Did very well, finishing to a good hand. TOTO - (13 mins.) A great novelty that is entirely away from anything we have ever had here. Toto is not only a clever pantomimic funster but a remarkable acrobatic contortionist and with a mixture of the two has something that is unusual. He got plenty of laughs and finished to a very good hand. MIGNON - (13 mins.) A series of imitations very well done put this girl over to a good sized applause hit. All her subjects are popular and each was greeted with warm applause. She finished with a very good dance number and closed strong. HARRY BERESFORD & CO. in "A Live Wire" - (24 mins.) this is a pretty sketch carrying a very interesting little romance. It is very well played by Mr. Beresford and his company and scored strongly. The playlet is elaborately staged. DOC. O'NEIL - (20 mins.) He made them laugh with his nut comedy talk and a couple of songs. Has a breezy style of working and a lot of good material. Closed to a very good hand. MME. PETROVA - (30 mins.) Following a very warm welcome she sang a couple of songs and gave a short dramatic except from "The shulmanite" which were very big. She followed with a very well delivered speech and closed with a recitation. It was evident that a majority of the audience had come to see her after witnessing her in photo-plays. She was a big applause hit. TONEY & NORMAN - (22 mins.) Their nut comedy and burlesque dancing bits were big laugh winners. Kept the audience highly amused from start to finish. A better act than their old one and closed strong. REYNOLDS & DONEGAN - (10 mins.) Unquestionably the most elaborate skating act on the stage in addition to being the most varied in style and execution. In the closing position it got over in splendid shape and held all but a very few of the audience seated to the finish, which is unusual. A very good novelty closing act. GENERAL REMARKS - A very well balanced bill surrounding a dramatic headline offering which forms an excellent combination, especially for the week. The whole show went over fine.
