Philadelphia B.F. Keith's May 5th, 9 Kinograms - (9,mins.) Very good. BUCH BROS. "The Ship Ahoy Boys" - (8 mins.) An excellent acrobatic novelty, the two boys doing a routine of trampolin tricks, worked up with some very good comedy. A very good opener. CONWAY & FIELDS - (17 mins.) - A big applause hit in this early spot. The girl is especially good, carrying the important part of the act. They carry a piano player who is a very good ragtime player. The act took several bows. O'DONNEL & BLAIR - (10 mins.) in "The Piano Tuner" - A good low comedy act by a man and woman. The fellow does a lot of acrobatic work that got plenty of laughs and the act finished to a good hand. MACK & VINCENT - (16 mins.) A neat singing turn by a man and woman. Starts a bit slow with some gags and talk, but they pick up nicely when they start their songs and from this on went very well. Finished very good. CLAUDIA COLEMAN - (17 mins.) Did very well with a series of imitations, taking her subjects from life something along the lines of Beatrice Herford, only with more comedy and business. Does one song number. She makes a very good appearance, using a number of hats for her characters. Very well received. WILL J. WARD and His Five Symphony Girls - (20 mins.) - This is the third time for this act and it was a big applause winner as before. They have a good routine of songs, all of them well done, and the girls add plenty of color to the act. Finished strong. STUART BARNES - (22 mins.) - Returned after a long absence and was as well received as usual, which was always big. Using most of his old material but has freshened it up somewhat. Got plenty of laughs and closed to a good hand. "NOT YET MARIE" - (36 mins.) A very highly colored tabloid musical comedy in one scene and with a company of fifteen, including five principals. Contains a pretty chorus, elaborately costumed and the whole piece is prettily staged. The girls form a big part of the production and make a great flash. There is a comedy vein running all through the piece and it got a liberal amount of laughs. There is little semblance of a story which holds together in good shape with a tag line at the finish, which gives the piece its title. There are several musical numbers, one or two of them catchy and well done. The act held close attention in the closing spot and finished to a good hand. GENERAL REMARKS - This show encountered the first spell of real warm weather which had its effect on the entire bill but considering conditions it went over in very satisfactory shape and it will do better. CUTS MACK & VINCENT - Use of the word "Damn" in one of their songs.
