BOSTON KEITH'S April 28, 9 Kinograms:- Interesting. McConnell & Austin:- 10 min. f.s. Man and woman in a routine of bicycle tricks, made a fair opener. Rose & Moon:- 8 min. in 1. Boy and girl, both good dancers, held this spot nicely. Seven Bracks:- 9 min. f.s. Went over big. Geo. & Paul Hickman:- 15 min. in 1. Started rather slowly but got quite a few laughs and closed to a fair hand. Mellette Sisters:- 20 min. f.s. Spec. These girls make a nice appearance, have some pretty gowns, and with the assistance of Lew Pollock at the piano, put over a very pleasing program of dances. Went well. Maurice Burkhardt:- 11 min. in 1. Spec. A rather novel singing act, closed to a fair hand. Emmet Devoy & Co.:- 24 min. f.s. Spec. This sketch seemed to hold interest throughout, and Mr. Devoy is supported by a very good company. Closed to a good hand. Lillian Shaw:- 22 min. in 1 and 2 Miss Shaw seemed to go better than ever at both shows today, and closed to a big hand. Lady Alice's Pets:- 9 min. f.s. Spec. A rather quiet act for closing, but its novelty held a little more than three fourths of the house. CUTS: Maurice Burkhardt:- Please eliminate reference to "A flat" in song "How She Can Sing", and would like very much if you could substitute a number in place of this for your opening song, as it has been used a good deal and doesn't seem to get over. Lillian Shaw: Please eliminate the word "sucker" from your act, and oblige. McConnell & Austin: Please do not display the 'Oh, Hell" sign during your act.
