MARYLAND THEATRE REPORT BALTIMORE, WEEK OF OCT. 17, 1910. *********** Les Navas 10 min Full Stage. A very good opening, consisting of balancing on a trapeze and some good foot work with barrel, done by a man and a boy. THEA LEIGHTNER Pianologuist - 10 min in 1. A cheap act that held the spot fairly well. FAY, 2 COLEYS & FAY 18 min in 1 - A good fast, bright act that scored heavily. BERT COOTE & COMPANY 18 min Full State - Same act as presented here before and going very good. FERRY 12 min Full Stage - Always good, going bigger than ever. Splendid value. HITE & DONLIN 12 min in 1 and 8 min in 2. Comedy talking, singing and dancing specialty entitled "A Double Play." These artists thoroughly made good at both performances and should be a drawing card for us. Miss Hite is a great artist and carries the act through in great shape, while Donlin is doing his little bit very acceptable and more than surprises his audience by his ability. LADDIE CLIFF 18 min in 1 - Nearly all new material and as big a hit as ever; although seriously handicapped by the non-arrival of trunks containing his wardrobe, thereby being compelled to work throughout his act in street clothes. PEDERSEN BROTHERS 10 min Full Stage. The same big sensation as before. THE KINETOGRAPH O. K. Both Bert & Company and Laddie Cliff's trunks failed to arrive here for either matinee or night shows, which hurt our performance to a great extent, and it seems to me that those houses which are getting the benefit of artists' labors for two extra performances on a Sunday, should make it a point to protect others who are paying the same money for acts to work but six days, by lending some attention to these jumps and the proper handling of the artists' baggage.
