The tells him she is about have a great sum settled upon her and wants to buy his silence. He refuses. The husband enters and the wife leaves. After a short conversation the men become personal and a fight is imminent when the actor offers to prove all the many [disreditable] things he has said about the wife. He overturns a few chairs and a table, tells the husband to lie on a sofa as though dead, and then he fires a shot. The wife enters and he tells her he has killed her husband. She cries out with joy that now she is wealthy when the husband gets up and confronts her as the curtain goes down. The act went very well. C.D.F. 15 Min. QUINLAND AND RICHARDS--- "The Traveling Dentist". Two men, one straight and the other blackface. It is the same old act with a few new jokes. The act is a laugh from start to finish and went good. Special drop in one, 19 Min. MYSTERIOUS EDNA---- One woman and two men. The act opens with an announcement made by a man wearing evening clothes. He stands before a red plush drop. When he finishes describing the act the curtains part and a young woman, wearing tights, is seen suspended in the air. The entire black canopy under which she works covers the stage. She performs many graceful tricks and evolutions in the air, turning somesaults forward and backward and she passes a hoop over her entire body several times. The act seems to create expectations which are not realized. When the curtain drops and the act ends the audience does not realize it. It seems to expect something more. The seem disappointed. The act went fair. Special set 7 Min. PHOTOPLANES---- Satisfactory.
