IX CRITICISM B.F.KEITH'S UNION SQUARE THEATRE WEEK MARCH 10th. LOLEEN SISTERS Well known wire act that opened the show in splendid manner. Six minutes, full stage. HARRY FENTELLE AND VIOLA VALLORIE A small time talking, singing and dancing number that negotiated this place in pretty good shape, although entirely too long. Seventeen minutes, in one. PROF. KLUTING and His Animal Actors. Greatly improved since his last appearance. A great act and one that caught the fancy of the crowd, thereby getting numerous laughs and a great hand on the finale. Thirteen minutes, full stage. CHICK SALES The same big hit and as much of an artist as ever. Each impersonation made an individual hit. Fifteen minutes, in one, own drop. TOM TERRISS Giving us the play, "The Tale of Two Cities" by Charles Dickens. The story is too well known to go into detail. Mr Terriss and his very capable company gave a splendid performance. It was given every attention and applauded well, but, I think it really too deep a subject for this audience and not fully appreciated. "Scrooge" in "A Christmas Carol" was liked much more. Forty-two minutes, six scenes, own set. TALKING PICTURES Showing two subjects, "Her Redemption", and the Miser scene from the "Chimes of Normandy", the former in colors and the latter black and white. Both were good photographically and a great improvement over last week. Went very well. AL AND FANNY STEDMAN The same hit as on former occasions. Sixteen minutes. "WHO IS BROWN" A good comedy, well acted and received numerous laughs. Mr. Lynn Overman was especially well liked. Thirty-minutes, full stage. FROSINI Accordian wonder. At this late hour, he kept up the attention and was compelled to play continuously with repeated encores. Ten minutes, in one. THE MAX WELSON TROUPE Three men and two women in a ring exhibition that held them until the last stunt was accomplished, and received a good hand.Ten minutes, full stage.
