XI B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE - BOSTON - WEEK MARCH 10th, 1913 (R. G. Larsen.) MACRAE and CLEGG. 8 minutes f.s. Garden. One of the fastest and best comedy bicycle acts we have played. Almost too good to open the show. 2.00 MADGE P. MAITLAND. 10 minutes in one. Olio drop. Rather too early for an act of this character, but the only place we could give her. She got away with it in good shape. 2.08 A. O. DUNCAN. 16 minutes in two. Special drop. Duncan is now carrying a scene showing the deck of an ocean steamship, or at least some kind of a steamer, and works with two dummies. The idea is rather novel, and the act got over in good shape to-night. 2.18 KINETOPHONE. 14 minutes in one. Picture sheet. "Temptation of Faust." and "Jack's Joke." Proved very satisfactory here, and the comedy got some laughs. 2.34 REDFORD and WINCHESTER. 19 minutes f.s. Special drop. Same old riot as on previous visits. 2.48 EDDIE LEONARD and MABEL RUSSELL. 21 minutes in one. Garden. Doing about the same act, and going very well. 3.07 JOHN BUNNY. 13 minutes in one. Special picture sheet, and olio drop. Mr. Bunny has worked up a novel opening for his act. Announcement is made that he is not in the theatre, and the announcer goes to look for him. Then starts a search form Mr. Bunny in a motion picture, running about three minutes, when Bunny steps out of the picture through a slit in the sheet onto the stage as a surprise. Received a warm welcome here to-night, and everybody seemed to know him. his monologue was much better than we usually expect for an act of this kind. 3.28 YE COLONIAL SEPTETTE. 20 minutes f.s. Special set. This act is as pleasing as ever. 3.41 EMPIRE COMEDY FOUR. 20 minutes in one. Street. Got away with it in this spot in great shape with lots of laughs. AUSTRALIAN WOODCHOPPERS. 8 minutes f.s. Special set. One first-class novelty, that held the audience and closed to a big applause.
