B.F. KEITH'S THEATRE, CINCINNATI, O. Week of March 16th, 1913. MORAN & WISER: Comedy hat throwers. 13 min. F.S. Fine opener - Great act, full of laughs. Broad brimmed straw hats sailed over the audience boomerang style. Went big. INDIANAPOLIS. LEO CARILLO: Dialect stories, etc. 18 min. in one. A vast improvement in this man's work since his last appearance here. One big hit throughout. SYRACUSE. HERZOG'S HORSES: Handsome Russian stallions in a beautiful and classy act. 18 min. F.S. INDIANAPOLIS. FOUR MUSICAL KINGS: 18 min. in one. Four boys - Singing and instrumental. Best act of its kind seen here this season, and a tremendous hit, with loud and repeated encores. TOLEDO. TALKING MOVING PICTURES: "A Descriptive Lecture" and "The Edison Minstrels". 12 min. First presentation here. The two immense Sunday audiences deeply interested, and enthusiastic applause at the close of each film. EDMUND HAYES & CO.: Comedy sketch, "The Piano Movers". 21 min. F.S. Big laughing hit from beginning to end. INDIANAPOLIS. ROONEY & BENT: Comedy sketch entitled, "At the News Stand". 14 min. in 1 1/2, closing 3 min. in one. Singing and dancing. A big hit, particularly Pat Rooney's dancing. INDIANAPOLIS. SIMON, OSTERMAN & CO.: In the musical comedy, "A Persian Garden". 39 min. F.S., own set. Beautiful stage setting. The principal feature of this act is the comedy work of Simon. Went only fair, doubtless owing to the general excellence of the preceding acts and the length of the show. LINCOLN, NEB. PATHE'S WEEKLY: 10 min. CUTS: Leo Carillo: The words 'hell' and 'damn'. Four Musical Kings: One very suggestive verse of a song. Edmund Hayes & Co.: Expression of Hayes to his maid: "Come here, chicken"; also, some suggestive motions. Rooney & Bent: Stunt of Pat Rooney falling against the curtain, and the speech to the audience by our assistant property man at the conclusion of this act. C.L. Doran.
