BEN HENDRICKS AND COMPANY ---- Three men and three women. This sketch is nothing but the second act of a four act comedy that Hendricks has been playing in popular priced houses. The plot is a serio-comic giving Hendricks an opportunity ti sing two songs. The plot has no strength and there is very little comedy. The act fails to get over. F.S. 23 Min. INTERMISSION HOMER MILES AND COMPANY ---- "On the edge of Things". Two men and two women. Scene roof of New York apartment house, showing the roofs of distant houses and skyscrapers in the distance. Miles is the janitor of the house and while on the roof he over-hears a young married man of his house planning to elope with a single girl living in an adjoining house. As the couple are about to leave the house-roof and descend tot he street Miles stops them at the door. He exposes the married man and the girl, not inclined to belief him at first, breaks down and finally walks away from the young man. At this point the wife carrying their baby comes to the roof for some cool air. Without telling the young wife of the near tragedy Miles sends her back to her flat with her husband. The girl, carrying the suit case containing her clothing climbs the ladder leading to the window of her home and she enters the house, thanking the Janitor for saving her. The curtain rings down as the Janitor makes several philosophical remarks about certain kinds of husbands. There is interest to the plot and it is well acted. Miles gets many laughs with his droll sayings. The act went big. Special scenery, F.S. 16 Min. THE SIX AMERICAN DANCERS ---- Three men and three women, wearing Colonial style costumes, perform some very clever dancing before a red plush drop. The act went very good. in one 12 Min. VAN HOVEN ---- Comedy magician who uses two boys to assist him in getting the laughs. The act went very big. In one 14 Min. ODIVA ---- Her second appearance here. This well known act should draw business this week. we are holding five contests. The act went well. Special, F. S. 23 Min. PHOTOPLANE ---- Satisfactory.
