35 B. F. KEITH'S HIPPODROME Week of April 7th, 1913 Cleveland, Ohio WILL & KEMP -- Acrobatic Oddities. 8 minutes, garden in 3. Offering some very difficult stunts and making good in this position. (Erie) WILLIAM ROBINSON -- Colored Comedian. 12 minutes in 1. Of the team of Cooper and Robinson. Cooper being unable to appear Robinson was booked in as a single and is a hit. Robinson as a single is just as good as Cooper and Robinson as a team. (Bridgeport) THE KINETOPHONE -- "The Worm Turns" and "The Master Mind". 13 minutes. picture sheet. The first of these two offerings is very distinct and secured laughs. TOM DINGLE & ESMERELDA SISTERS -- Dancers. 10 minutes in one. A very neat act with Dingle doing some splendid eccentric dances. His work is clean cut and makes a hit and is worthy of consideration. The girls simply lend a background to Dingle, and although very graceful and well dressed cannot compare to him as dancers. The act closes strong. (Erie) WILLIAM A. WESTON & FRANKLYN MAE in "Attorneys". Special set, 23 minutes. This act carries almost a carload of special props which require immediate attention upon their arrival. A library set is used, with office furniture which is carried by the act. This is all trick musical stuff, and is the most distinctly novel act we have had this season. There is good comedy and the act includes six people. Was liberally applauded at both shows Monday. (Buffalo) LEW BRICE & LILLIAN GONNE -- 11 minutes in one. This act should have never been booked on the same bill with Tom Dingle and the Esmerelda Sisters. The two men do exactly the same line of stuff, and while both are excellent, there seems to be a little too much of it. Mr. Brice and Miss Gonne are remembed [remembered] as being a part of the Gus Edwards' School-days combination. They held this spot in excellent shape but would have gone much better if Dingle hadn't preceded them. (Atlanta) ZELDA SEARS & CO -- in "The Wardrobe Woman". Special set F.S. 22 minutes. A corking good sketch filled with most acceptable comedy and just a touch of pathos at the finish. The supporting company is excellent. (Chicago) NELLIE NICHOLS -- 17 minutes in one. Doing the same class of character songs she has offered here on previous visits. She has the punch, personality and costumes. (Pittsburg) TWO O'MEERS SISTERS & CO -- "Three Girls on the Wire". 10 minutes in 3. A good closing act showing unusually dainty wire work. (Milwaukee)
