REPORT ON COLUMBUS SHOW, WEEK APRIL 21, 1913--W.W. PROSSER. BLANCHE SLOAN: Trapese artist who did very well as an opener. Scattered applause and a fairly strong finish. Garden in 5, 7 min. (Indianapolis) TOM DINGLE & ESMERELDA SISTERS: Eccentric and acrobatic dancers. Opened rather slow, but improved as they went along. Everything O.K. beginning with Dingle's solo number. Pretty strong finish. Palace in 2, 12 min. (Syracuse) TALKING PICTURES: "Dick, The Highwayman" and "The Politician". The first held attention, and the second went big. Street in 1, 16 min. CUNNINGHAM & MARION: IN "An Acrobatic Talkfest". This wellknown team gave good satisfaction holding attention throughout and finishing strong. Street in 1, 11 min. (Open) WILLIAMS, THOMPSON & COPELAND: In "The Burglar's Union". A great comedy hit. Almost a continuous yell, with a very strong finish. Street in 1, C.D.F. in 3, 15 min. (Pittsburgh) DOLLY CONNELLY & PERCY WENRICH: This team made an instantaneous hit. Every number went very big, and they were compelled to take several bows at the finish. Olio in 1, 19 min. Special in 5, 30 minutes. (Cleveland) BEN DEELY & CO: Two men and one woman in "The New Bell Boy". Deely has elaborated considerably on his old act, and very successfully.
