76 REport On Acts Playing the Scenic Theatre Pawt. R.I. Mon. Tues. & We. May 26 27 281913. Show Seen Mon. Matnee & Eve. By C.L.McNally Anna Madigan & Co. 4 People 2 men & 2 Women. Act works in full stage 12 Min. Special Scenery very pretty setting Irish Dramatic singing sketch one off the women members having a fairly good voice A very neat little act but no plot to it and when it is all over you wonder what it was all about. A very pretty little finish where the interior of a church is seen with a Sister and alter boy and organ player render a selection Act Pleased. Time 12 Min. Emilie Edgamour Siging Comedienne works in one Time 12 Min. Sings three numbers with custumme changes2"nd. change being a boy and the third with the Harem Gown. Costume very pretty Act about the same as the usual run. Pleased. The Kendal Trio (2) W men1 Man Work in Center door fancy Time 14 Min. High class musical offering Schelle & Harp playin g One off the ladies of act is a very fine singer and her singing is the big facter in the act Act well dressed and well staged. The Lady that plays the harp is very clever with the instrument getting some very good music from same. Pleased. Zertho's Dogs Work in special Set. 16 Min. Man and woman work in act with a ladys asst. off stage Agood many dogs in act so many I could not count same all kinds big and little. Anordinary dog act doing the tricks common to all dog acts, but with so many dogs it makes quite a flash . Seemed to please at Matnee but no hand at Finish. Went The Same at Night. The Shows the past two or three weeks have nothing to them to draw and bussinesshould be better then it is as the weather is still cool. Mr. Davis has spoke to me about them and thinks they are poor to what we should have for the money. Dramatic Sketch with singing by Both parties Fair Singers Blue Cloud Gives a short speach or discription on the life of the Indian which was well recieved. An act well worth the money. Went Well. Sheer & Oswald Man & Woman Work in One Olio. 12 Min. The act is entirely singing Fair singers Singing mostly conversation songs With Custumme changes Act well dressed. Act not worth the money. Went Fair. Claudius & Scarlet Man & Woman (2) Appearance here work in one Olio & Picture sheet. Banjo Novelty. Using Slides with act. A very good novelty but not worth so much money. Very Good Banjo Players Went Good. Zertho's Dogs Going the same as the first half no hand at finish.
