CRITICISM
of
B.F. KEITH'S UNION SQUARE THEATRE
WEEK OF JUNE 16TH.

NOTE-In justice to the performers I think it unfair to give my extended criticism of the acts playing at the Square, during the summer season, and therefore, will give merely the name, time and value from the managerial standpoint.

DIRKIN'S PANTOMIME DOGS
Rather crude, nine minutes, full stage.

HARRY GORDON'S A.B.C.D. BOYS AND GIRLS
Five boys and four girls, in a fast singing and dancing school room act. Good. Twenty-four minutes, full stage, open and close in one.

JOHN AND WINNIE HENNING
"The Kill Kare Kouple." A musical comedy, consisting of singing and dancing and instrumental music. Good. Fifteen minutes, ten minutes  full stage, and five minutes in one.

YVETTE
"A Study In Black Art". Very novel and a good act. Eleven minutes, in two, can close in one.

NEWHOFF AND PHELPS
A young man and woman in a refined little playlet, consisting of some bright patter and singing. Very neat. Sixteen minutes, in one and half and close in one, giving ample time to make any act.

PAUL DICKEY AND COMPANY
Presenting the comedy, "The Come Back". Very good. Twenty-four minutes.

LILLIAN SHAW
The same act and the same big hit. Sixteen minutes.

THE FOUR MARVELOUS MELLS
Comedy ring and balancing act. Very good. Nine minutes.
