105 BOSTON SHOW - B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE - WEEK JULY 7, '13 [1913] (R. G. Larsen.) THE BALLIOTS. 9 minutes f.s. Garden. Wellknown strong man and woman act that made an excellent opener. CARSON and BROWN. 10 minutes in one. Garden. One of the best two-man dancing acts we have ever played. Went big. CATHRYN CHALONER and CO. in "Kate's Press Agent." 18 minutes f.s. Interior. A rather novel comedy with two people that got quite a few laughs and closed well. CARL McCULLOUGH. 20 minutes in one. Olio. All of McCullough's material is new this trip, with the exception of the department store girl impersonation. A decided hit. [KEUNAN? HEUMAN?] TRIO. 12 minutes f.s. Palace. A fast, flashily dressed bicycle act with some good comedy that went big. MAURICE GOLDEN and GRACE DEWINTERS. 17 minutes in one. O.P. Drapery. A novel little turn that pleased immensely. DONALD MEEK and CO. in "I Gotcha, Steve." 11 minutes f.s. Special set. Meek is the character man of the Castle Square stock company, and has quite a following here in Boston. While I am afraid his present vehicle would never do for a vaudeville tour, it got over in very fair shape at both performances. I have no doubt but what Meek will draw us some money. FOSTER and LOVETT. 18 minutes in one. O.P. Drapery. This is a new two-man comedy singing act. They open with one singer on the stage and the other playing the drums in the pit. The singer and drummer quarrel, and the drummer goes onto the stage, the singer taking his place in the pit. A lot of excellent comedy is introduced, and the act should prove a most welcome addition to our standard acts in one. Got laughs all through, and closed strong with the novel song contest number. "THE MEISTERSINGERS IN THE WILD WOODS." 30 minutes f.s. Special set. Third and last week of this production, and going bigger than ever. To-day we put on a program of request numbers, composed of the biggest hits of past seasons, and it went over big. KINETOPHONE. 7 minutes in one. CUTS. Cathryn Challenger - "What the H---."
