107 Criticism B.F.Keith's Union Square Theatre Week of July 7th,1913. FLYING MARTINS Well known. Started the show off in good shape. Five minutes, full stage. LILLIAN BRADLEY A young lady of good appearance and has a pleasing voice. Her repertoire is excellent and she gets her songs over in splendid manner. Ten minutes in one. JOHN R. GORDON AND COMPANY Two men and two women, in a sketch called, "What Would You Do". A rather rough comedy that secured some few laughs and finished fairly well. Twelve minutes, full stage. CHARLES HOWARD, WALTER JAMES AND DOROTHY HAYDEN This is a new combination with Charley Howard of Burlesque fame, Walter James and a young woman. The act consists of singing, dancing and come bright patter. A lot of comedy is secured through Howard's impersonation of a drunk, which is one of the big laughs of the act. Hit of the show up to this time. Seventeen minutes in one. HANLON AND CLIFTON Novel hand balancing act that secured big applause for every stunt and a rousing hand on the finish. Six minutes, full stage. MERLIN A card trickster that kept them laughing continually for twenty minutes. JESS DANDY AND COMPANY Presenting the musical romance called, "The Nodding Idol". The theme is light, the music fairly good and the lines fall short of being humorous. It lacks a punch and in its present state is not worthy of serious consideration. Twenty seven minutes, full stage. VANDERBILT AND MOORE The same big hit as before. Fifteen minutes in one. SISTERS GASCH Well Known. A splendid act and closed the show in good shape. Six minutes, full stage.
