117 CRITICISM B.F. KEITH'S UNI(ON SQUARE THEATRE WEEK OF JULY 21ST. HANLON AND HANLON A splendid balancing act by two men that would be of more value if placed in the centre of the bill. Very good and a great opener. Six minutes full stage, with two minutes in one. FOUR GIRLS OF MINE A quartette of young ladies. Good personality, in a vocal and piano specialty that got by in fairly good shape. Twelve minutes, open in one, close in one. Bradley-MARTIN and FABRINI-Edyth In a novel specialty, consisting of toe and fancy dancing. Nicely presented. Scored heavily at both performances. Nine minutes in two. Maud-[ROEIA?]Rand WARD-Joe In the skit called, "Ocean Breezes" consisting of bright patter and songs. Secured numerous laughs throughout and finished strong. Fourteen minutes, in one. WILLIAM MORRIS and COMPANY Presenting the one-act dramatic playlet called "The Interrupted Curry". Very interesting and a sketch that holds the audience. Well acted and received big applause at the finish. Thirteen minutes. CHUNG HUA FOUR Four Chinamen, with fairly good voices, in a repertoire of English, Scotch and Chinese songs. Did fairly well and won out solely on the novelty of the act. Sixteen minutes, in one. "THE LAWN PARTY" Well known. The hit of the show. Dooley had the house laughing continually and was compelled to bow repeatedly and finished strong. Twenty eight minutes, full stage. FOSTER AND LOVETT Described in previous criticism. Had them laughing continually and proved one of the hits of the show. Sixteen minutes in one. "THE ACT BEAUTIFUL" A splendid closing number. Eight minutes, full stage.
