C. E. BARNS. PHILADELPHIA SHOW. JULY 21, 1913. THE SEEBACKS. 12 min. F.S. This act makes a bully opener. Both of them make a fine appearance, and their bag-punching stunts are skilful and original. Plenty of applause throughout and closed very well. Act could hold a better spot on any bill. DOROTHY KENTON. 10 min. in one. Miss Kenton received an advance hand and varied her act by dancing with her banjo work. Makes a fine appearance. Two changes of costume and closed well. DOROTHY RICHMOND & CO. "The Midnight Marriage." 15 min. This sketch is along original lines and held the interest of the audience throughout. Miss Richmond makes a most stunning effect in a white gown, and all in all, the act made good in this spot. Good applause finish. CUNNINGHAM & MARION. 12 min. in one. Well known act that got advance applause and held the crowd from start to finish. One man works straight, the other eccentric. Closed well. "PINAFORE." 31 min. F.S. This is a charming act and ideal for a Summer show. All of them have beautifully trained voices and the principals gave the familiar solos of the famous comic opera exceptionally well. Plenty of applause. Carry their own scene set which is very effective, and on the whole made good as a feature. Will certainly draw business, especially with the young folks. THREE BOHEMIANS. 18 min. in one. These three clever musicians did well on their last visit here, but this time they were a positive hit. In fact, the audience clamored for more at the finish of their act which was very strong. HELEN GOFF. 12 min. in one. This young lady has a charming voice and sings absolutely true. Every one of her selections received good applause and she held this spot with entire credit. Closed to a good hand. BARNES & CRAWFORD. 24 min. F. S., close in one. "The Magazine Man and the Lady." This act is full of life and ginger, Miss Crawford having a good singing voice, but Barnes puts over the funniest lines of stuff that we have heard here in a long time, all in his individual way. Constant laughs and applause and made a fine close. HEUMAN TRIO. 13 min. F.S. This is a swift-moving and novel act, one man working straight, another comedy and a clever young lady who is not only skilful, but makes a good appearance. A fine closer. Finish with a mild burlesque bicycle race that gets big applause. KINETOGRAPH. A very good current event series. GENERAL REMARKS. A show that should please any patron, with lots of life, ginger and fun. It should pull the business. CUTS DOROTHY RICHMOND & CO. Word "hell;" also expression "Is she thin," etc., etc. BARNES & CRAWFORD: Expression "My God;" also addressing of remarks to patrons leaving theatre.
