125 B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE - BOSTON - WEEK OF AUGUST 4, 1913. (R. G. Larsen.) SOLLY BROWN and FELICIA SPRAGUE. 14 minutes in one. Olio. I fear this couple will not get very far on the big time with their present act. Just got by, and that's about all. LYNCH and ZELLAR. 11 minutes. Open in one. Close in two. Olio and Garden. One of the best club juggling acts we have ever played. Went strong. VERSATILE TRIO. 15 minutes. Open and Close in one. Go to garden in two. A lively act that woke things up in great shape and closed to a big hand. HERBERT and CLARIBEL FARJEON. 13 minutes f.s. C.D.F. Man and woman in a comedy sketch of the "unfaithful wife who is disillusioned type." The plot has a rather unique turn, and the piece went very well at both performances. MARIE FENTON. 14 minutes in one. O.P. Drapery. Miss Fenton has some songs and gowns. Scored a decided hit. JAMES F. KELLY and EMMA POLLOCK. 22 minutes in one. Special drop. Started a trifle slow, but would [wound] up with a smashing big finish. "PINAFORE KIDDIES." 31 minutes f.s. Special set. One of the best novelties we have played in some time. The so-called "up-to-date" material that marred the act formerly has all been eliminated, which is a great improvement. As it now stands, the act is a condensed version of "Pinafore." Held the interest every minutes, many of the numbers were encored, and closed very, very big. CHARLES F. SEMON. 22 minutes in one. Olio Drop. Semon is now doing his entire act in one. Has considerable new material, and although this was a hard spot for a single man, he got away with it in great shape. MARTINETTI and SYLVESTER. 8 minutes f.s. Special drop. This well known "bump" act made a great closer for one of the best bills of the summer season. Kept the audience in screams, and closed to a big hand. CUTS: H and C Farjeon - "God" "Hell" "Devil." Marie Fenton - "Where did you get that girl" song. James F. Kelly - "chicken verse" of "Fall River Line." Pinafore - "and the cat came back" gag. Lynch and Zellar - word "chicken."
