129 B.F.KEITH'S UNION SQUARE THEATRE WEEK OF AUG.11TH. [ARTUSO?] Giving a series of equilibristic stunts that held the attention and developed into a slendid opening act.Eight minutes, full stage O'NEILL AND DIXON Two clean cut young fellows in a neat singing and dancing act. Managed to hold their own and received some applause. Doubt if they could be used in the larger houses.Sixteen minutes in one. BETTY [LNE?]]--Impossible. CHAS.L.WARREN & COMPANY Decided to close after first performance. MIGNON Well known as "La Petite Mignon"This young woman has discarded her characterizations and give us a straight singing specialty, consisting of three songs. She manages to get them over in fairly good shape, but would prefer to have her other act. EVA TAYLOR AND COMPANY "After The Wedding" Well known. A great sketch and one of the hits of the bill. Twenty-one minutes, full stage. HINES AND FOX Two young fellows in a specialty with piano solos, songs and character work. The one big hit of the show and one of the best acts of its kind we have had for many months. Compelled to change this act to Number Eight position. Seventeen minutes in one. THE PINAFORE KIDDIES" Twenty-two juveniles iving a condensed version of "Pinafore" Understand a detailed criticism of this act has been rendered. Held their own here in splendid manner and closed with a good hand. Thirty-one minutes. HARRY [BROOK?] With the same material as before. Secured quite a number of laughs, although I don't think he went as strong as last time. Will move him up on the bill.Eighteen minutes in one. MISS JOSEPHONE This woman does not make a very pleasing appearance, due to her over abundance of avoirdupois. However, she gives many thrilling stunts on the wire and receives good applause. Will change her to open the show.Eleven minutes, full stage.
