Tilly Whitney Works in one10 Min. Act opens with Miss Whitney appearing in Eve. gowm Openning numbersings while playing piano makes change to dutch customme with songs and dialogue finishing with a dance. Pleased. Rodolphy Dares Co. 2 Men 1 woman work in special set 13 Min. Scenery very pretty also the custummes act opens with lady of act setting in Jap tea housesinging a popular melody at finish the man off the act enters and does some lifting off heavy objects at finish lefts tea house with six people seated in same on his feet. Not much to the act but scenery and the Went fair at matnee. finish. Al & Fanny Steadman Man & Woman work in one with piano 15 Min. Act well custumed Man plays piano while Miss. Steadman does must off the singing broken up with some nonscense which they get over. Some dancingis included in the act which is one big hit with the Audiennce both matnee & Eve. Norine Garmen and her merry Minstrells 1 Woman and 6 men. work in special sce nery 18 Min. A complete minstrell first part ending with harmony singing by four members and aeccentric dancing by the comedians the two end men. Some good singing some new and old jokesand good dancing Act went well1/2 Report On The Acts Playing The Scenic Temple Pawt. R.I. Thurs. Friday & Sat. Aug. 14 15 16 1913. Show seen By C.L.McNally Both Matnee & Eve. Rio & Norman (2) Men who work in full stage landscape These men are clever acrobats and roman ring artists who do some very neat tricks some new and a few old ones. One off the members is very strong and shows his strength in feats with his partner Act runs 10 Min. Pleased. Valentine Fox Jr. Works in one 15 Min. Ventrilical Mr. Fox uses one dummy. The Monologue is very good. Smokes and drinks and orther stunts same as orther acts off this kind but there is something different in the way he puts it over that takes. FInishes his act about the same as Marshal Montgomery with whistling with handkerchief in monhth. Pleased. Francis Yates. Works in full stage special plush drops15 Min. The setting on this act is very neat and pretty [strikethrough?] Mrs Yates [...?] [/strikethrough] Mr. Yates appears in three numbers in some beautifull gowns andwhile he is making his changes heshows each chnage by shadowgraph that is a decided novelty. His final number he appears in male attire and sings in his natural voice. Hit. Al & Fann e Steadman Still Going good.
