140 [preprinted] Pawtucket, R. I. [/preprinted] Report on Vaudeville Acts Playing the Scenic Temple Pawt. R. I. Mon. Tues. & Wed. Aug. 25,26,27 1913. Ruth Landis Works In One 10 Min. Miss. Landis sing three numbers with custumme Changes , Custummes are pretty ,Miss. Landis voice is only fair. Atmatnee went poor ^[Went Poor at night.] Dick McAllister Trio. (2) Men 1 Woman Work in center door fancy 15 Min. AComedy knockabout sketch With acrobatsA sketch that it woudl be impossible to describ as it is a lot off junk thrown to-gether act recieves lot off laught through same but recieves no hand at finish Murial& Arthur Vale Work In One 15 Min. Actvopens with a little majic including slight off hand.Next is Burlesque Mind Readingthis is where the Woman of act makes her appearence as the mind reader,Next the man in the act makes some cartoones with crayons that are good the woman in act sings an English song at this point in the act. The act could get along just as well lif not better with out the woman, the man is very clever. Went Good. Don Fulane The Wonder Horse (2) Men in act besides the horse Special Scenery in full stage 15Min. Don Fulane is certainly a wonder horse as he does must everything that it would be possible to do ,He is a very pretty black horse and makes a fine apperance. Act Went GOod. [[on separate piece of paper]] Report on Acts Playing The Scenic Temple Pawt. R.i. Aug. 272829 1913. Show was seen by C.L.McNally. Thurs. Matnee & Eve. Herman &Shirley Man & W omanwork inFull StageCenter Door Fancy Name Off Act "The Mysterious Masquerader" This act is a very good sketch with a surprise in same that is away from anything that has ever played the house The Gentleman does some off the best contortion work that I have ever seen. Act runs about 12 Min. Dan Delmar Works in one 15 Min. Mr. Delma has a very pleasing triple voice tenor Does some monologue which is good, but his singing certainly makes a hit with the audience Went Big. Four Masons and Co. (3) Woman 2 Men Work in full stage 20 Min. Act Entitled " The Bingville Colledge" Act consists of the old school act.About the same as all acts off this kind Singing Talking jokes and dancing. Act went Fair Matnee Went Good At Night. Don Fulane Going Good. Excuse this writing but this typewriter is working bad.
